Golden Key Tranquilizer Vs. Sims Modular Stabilizer
I' m trying to decide between these two stabilizers for my Legacy. They both use sims technology. Does anybody have any recommendations and reasons why one might be better than the other?

ORIGINAL: thundermug if they both use the same technology, why would one be any better than he other? Obviously there are some major design differences between the two. Just because they both use the Sims material doesn' t mean they perform the same. |
RE: Golden Key Tranquilizer Vs. Sims Modular Stabilizer
I had the Tranquilizer on my Hoyt and my Drton prior to that. It was a good stabilizer for reducing noise but did very little for added weight or balance. The Sims is much better for balance.
Having said that I just got a Doinker (5.75 inch 12 oz flex stabilizer) from Hoyt that is a little shorter than the 7 inch hunter version. I think the Doinker is much better than either of the 2 listed above. |

I haven' t tried the GK, but have the Sims Modular Stabilizer
on my Q2. I use 1 module on the inside and 2 modules on the outside with the addition of a Sims Stabilizer Enhancer on the end. I like the balanced feel this gives the bow in my hand and, though there is little vibration in my Q2 to begin with, using the Sims Mod. Stab. eliminates all vibration. |

I didn' t think about the difference in balance. Sorry.
