Trophy Taker or Quiktune 4000?
I have narrowed it down to the Trophy Taker or The NAP Quiktune 4000 rest. Which one of these is the least complicated. Anyone had experience with both? One question concerning the Trophy Taker. What keeps the arrow from falling off before the bow is drawn?

RE: Trophy Taker or Quiktune 4000?
They send a " U" shaped piece of fleece that attaches to the shelf. I made my own arrow capture system. The TT is really nice and simple to set-up and tune. I' ve never shot the 4000 but I' ve heard that having the cord attached to the cable slide is not optimal for performance.

I' ve not used the QT 4000, but I' ve got the TT Shakey Hunter on both
of my bows. Simple and dependable. I' ve not had a problem with the arrow coming off the shelf, don' t see this as a problem unless you do a lot of stalking. TB |
RE: Trophy Taker or Quiktune 4000?
I have 3 4000s and have had good success with them. I don' t use the piece on the shelf, I cover it with mole skin. These rests are easy to tune due to the micro adjustments.

Given the choice, I would definately go with the Trophy Taker. I have 3 TT' s and sold the QT 4000.

RE: Trophy Taker or Quiktune 4000?
I purchased the Trophy Taker last year . I did not have any problems with it its simple to use and set up. I placed a piece of foam on the shelf and put some liquid teflon on the rest itself which made it alot quieter.
