Gorilla Treestands

What do you guys think of the Gorilla "Kong" series tree stands??? Are they good for as cheap as they are???? I need to buy at least 4 treestands for this fall and don't have the budget to buy 4 $200 stands.:)

I have two, I really like the stands, very sturdy but word of caution. The net seating is very, very comforatable and the reason I bought it was for the seating as Ol'man climbers use it as well.

The other lock ons with the black "foam" seating is not for an all day sit, uncomfortable but if you stand more than you sit, solid stands.

Ok, thanks. I was thinking of putting an extra pad on it if I get one. I didn't think they looked to comfortable.:)

Gorilla stands are sturdy, comfy, and quiet. Like Rob said: I do prefer the ones with the net seat.

I own six Gorilla stands. They're all I hunt out of when I'm in a tree.

If i were you i'd buy the ones with the net seat.. Very comfortable! I'm buying 3 of them this summer and not putting my others out...

Ok, thanks guys. I am planning on getting 4 of them to start with. I have to have 2 to a location, due to having to have a cameraman with me all the time, and my brother hunts the same area, so he is going to be putting 4 up, so I think 4 stand locations in this particular spot will be enough.

Hunted out of them for years. Great stand for the money!

Not sure if this model has it, but I do not like the expanded metal floors that are welded to tubing. I had one like that and the welds popped and there was no way to move on that stand without it popping and squeking.

Maybe I just got a dud, but I stay away from them now.
