My .243 handload... it shot 3880fps

I watched a guy shoot an Iron Mace in the 330's... I think that was it.

Really doesn't mean much. I've seen a lot of bows that will shoot faster than that with those weight arrows.[8D]I've shot a lot of Speed bows down through the years and I've never shot a smoother, faster, handshock free bow as the Airborne 82. Mine is pushing a Legal arrow 318fps at 28" draw and 60#

318 is for sissies.

Should you ever attempt shoot a light arrow out of your precious bowtech, here's a product that might help you out. It's called a "magnetic sweeper." It will help you pick up all the pieces that are too small to find with the naked eye.

And this suit of armor should protect you from flying debris.

LOL!! I knew a guy shot a Black Knight in the 380's with light arrows, he never had a need for armor[8D]Any sissy can get speeds with too light arrows. It takes a Man's bow to do it with Legal weight arrows

250 grain arrows now there's some sissy arrows[8D]

If you think your bow is immune to a Blowup, better think again

Not "immune" from blowup . . . just less immune than yours.

I must be living in the dark ages. My hunting arrows are sailing along at about 260 fps. The fastest arrow I have ever personally seen chronoed was 289 - Bowtech Guardian with 370 grain arrows. The highest speed I ever seen a chrono screen was 4397. It was a my old 6MM-284 shooting the new 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips .

I've seen my Mace hit 337 while being over 5gr/#. 29.5" draw 320 gr arrow, 63.1#s. Plenty fast enough for me.

It would be impossible for me to be totally objective here, even though I am going to be, because I own a Iron Mace... but I will say that I have seen at least five times as many limb issues on Bowtechs I as have on High Country's... irregardless of what kind of arrow the customer is shooting.

From the jist of this post.. I think if you aren't shooting a Bowtech then you are obviously cheating.

No Swampcollie, All manufactureres besides HCA only warranty and approve shooting 5 grains per pound of draw weight.

So with that said, that's the standard in the industry to judge a bows performance via IBO specificiations. Can you imagine the speeds MOST manufacturers would reach and thusly, "falsely advertise" shooting a 250 grain arrow. Manufacturers could invent any speed they wish.
