Speed Calculator

I just typed in my numbers for my current set up because I was curious about the speed I would be shooting. Im just curious as to how accurate these calculators are since I don't have a chrono. Anybody have any ideas?

I could be wrong on my added string weight, i have a loop and a g5 peep, so i said 10grn.... It says i should be shooting 300.4fps.

I chrono'd at 288. So i think its a little steep.

Mine is right I have a Drenalin... with my arrows my draw length the estimate is only off by about 5 FPS... not bad

Yeah I didn't know what to put for my string weight. I have a peep and a loop so I said 8 even though I really have no clue how much they would be.

Im shooting a Reflex Excursion with:

IBO: 295
AW: 341
DL: 30
DW: 60
SW: 8?

And it shows me with my speed at 290.3, my KE at 63.8, and my arrow will be going 197.9 MPH.

How accurate this is, I don't know. I hope it's accurate, I'd be pretty happy.

It was 4 fps too fast for my 82nd, it said 334 but I don't know if I got my string weight right, I chrono'd at 330 fps

Sounds like it would be pretty close then. What all did you add and what did you enter for your string weight just out of curiosity?

I just did mine and it was about 15 fps off. Unless I miss calculated somethings myself. How much does a peep, kisser, and d loop weigh? And, are we supposed to put the max ibo speed for our bow according to the company?

I added 25 grains the first time as I use a Hooded Peep with a verifier lens, then I added it with 30 grains, only change a fps or so. I have no idea how close that is, I'm probably light on the string weight. It's probably more like 50 grains or so that'd put it rather close.

I suppose it would need the max IBO for the bow set up at 70/30. It was off by quite a bit for you- any chance you typed in the wrong arrow weight or your arrow doesn't weigh what you thought? I have a peep, kisser, and a loop as well, I didnt know so I have put both 8 and 10. Was it high or low for you?
