Do you think a roller guard is Necessary?

Is it going to make a big diffrence if you just have the cable slide thing instead of the rollerguard? thanks

I don't thik it's necessary, it probably makes the draw a little smoother and is less harsh on your cables. I've got one on my Mathews and it seems like a better design but who knows. It's more limited in it's adjustability or for the attachement of drop away cables than a standard rod type slide.

Looks cooler though.:D

Roller guard provides less friction and more ability to preload the limbs at the same time vs a cable slide.

By the way that is the sweetest spelling of necessary ever! :)(jk)

I like the roller guide because on those super quite evenings you can hear the slide. I know a doe heard mine one evening an she did not make the trip to camp with me because of it.
