Im getting contact with my blazers and my limbdriver... anybody else had this problem?? What can be done to eleminate this... maybe i thought wrong, but i thought the limbdriver was supposed to eliminate all contact... is there a way to adjust it?

Never heard of this?

it may have something to do with how tight your string is running up to your limbs?

I just got mine, and haven't had a problem. Someone with more expiriance should be able to help more. MeanV?

I've set up a bunch of Limb Drivers and I've never experienced any fletch contact with any type of Fletching.

Are you using cock vane up or down? Mo Bowhnter has one and he has the cock vane up with no clearance issues.

Just never experienced any clearance problems, and without seeing the setup about all I can offer is [&:]

buckmaster if you can post some pics it might help to see if a problem is visible. I'm sure you set the tension on the rest per instructions before completing the installation? That's really the thing I have liked about the Limb Driver, no timing issues or resulting clearance problems. Are you sure the contact is with the Limb Driver?

Maybe your rest isn't going low enough and you fletching are hitting it because of that and not because it drops to slow. It should be just about 1/8th of an inch off the riser.

Aaron:

If you're shooting cock vane up with the allegiance......you're getting contact (utilizing the arrows you are using) with your cable with your "inside" vane.

Shooting blazers with a/c/c 3-71's......I got contact with that cable and had to go to shooting cock vane "out".

That is your problem. Call me if you need to.

If it is a cable clearance problem changing slides is an easy fix. You might have to vary slightly but you do want to shoot cock vane up. Vanes are placed at equal distances on the arrow so you won't have to totally change the direction of the cock vane. Do Not shoot cock vane or any vane straight down with the Limb Driver. This rest will be at it's best shooting one vane straight up.
