Gobbler Guillotine for a body shot????
 

Does anyone know what would be wrong with using a Guillotine for a body shot on a turkey???? I wouldn't think it would pass through, and you would get a lot of shot trauma from it hitting. I don't think a turkey would go anywhere with one of those in it.

You would have a lot of meat damage though.

Any thoughts????

Magnus makes the Bullhead that is similar to the Guillotine and it can be used for head and body shots.

They bounce off of foam targets so I imagine that they would bounce off of a turkey. They might break a wing but good luck catching that turkey.

Ditto to what everyone else has said so far. They have a sweet video of those blades takin the heads off, but I don't think it would do any good on a body. Lets put it this way, if I had to be shot in the chest with a broadhead, that would be the one I would want to be shot with. Yeah, it may stun me and tear me up, but I don't think it would be able to penetrate all the way into my vitals and I would have a better chance of living.

Haha. I don't reccomend anybody testing out my theory though!

BAD idea IMO. No penetration. Feathers are tough on them birds.

well i always thought they were designed for just head shots but a couple members on here said they have used them for body shots and are very effective, i dont know, i have never used them. MN/Kyle chime in here, i think you had used them this way before.
