Im goin to the MN Deer & Turkey Expo, which is the same weekend, which on is better, haven't been to one, only Iowa Deer Classic.

i've never been to the deer/turkey expo, thats in owatana, mn and that is a pretty long drive from me. The classic is in st. paul. I went to the classic last year and had a blast, pat reeve did an outstanding seminar. Now you got me thinking...i don't know where I'm going anymore[&:]

Yep, I will be there, havnt missed one in het last few years. Not sure what day I will be there tho, My step son has a basketball tourny iin Austin on Saturday, so it will be either Friday night, or Sunday, I am kind of leaning towards Sunday.

I live in Austin, way down in hte South East corner. Yep, cant wait! Last year I went and listened to the guy that is the host of 24/7, cant for the life of me remember his name right now, but it was a great show. Lots of great things to see.

That was a good seminar. It was Pat Reeve talking about targeting a specific buck, good stuff. Also showed the video of him taking the largest typical whitetail on film.

I think I'm heading to Owatonna for the expo. I liked their line up of speakers this year, although I've yet to go to the classic.

Hey TeeJay, the Deer Classic is at the State FairGrounds, in one of the main buildings, but I dont remembere which building. NOt hard to find once you are in the FairGrounds tho, just look for all of the trucks.:D The Expo is at the Owatonna Fair Grounds. Have never been to that one, so dont know what that one is like, but the classic is a good time. Let us know if you are going, maybe we could try to meet up someplace. Hos the fish been bighting?

Absolutely terable! Getting into some crappie now, but the rest has sucked big wanker. Lake Trout has been ok.

Headed down there today, should be there around six. I'm bringin' the camera. If anyone is down there, I'll be the kid in the hoyt shirt and Hoyt Hat. Just holler. Should be a good time. Hope to see some there.
