I remember him saying in one post that he gets extremely busy with his work for short periods of time....maybe he is in corporate chaos!!!! Lucky me I have the day off with my kids :)

Hes still alive and kicking, he emailed me today, I didnt ask where hes been hiding. Hes going to come see us at the Dixie Deer Classic in NC this weekend. Im sure hes just busy with RL stuff.

I've talked to him he's alive and well.

Here is my assesment and I only make it because I'm friends with him and think this site is better because of him!

As you know Jeff puts himself out there, his brutal honesty and giving of himself sometimes allows him to become a target for those who wish to make personal attacks for some mythical egotistical self rightiousness. Jeff being the person that he is will defend himself to a point and then sees that he too is being drug down to the attackers level. Being a man, and not someonetoo hidebehind the muscle that the internet anonomously, provides, he's decided to take leave fora while.

I for one hope he returns and I know many others do as well. He comes here without an agenda, to learn and to share, isn't that what you want in a site that calls itself "The Ultimate Hunting Community?"

This little speech was not asked for but IMHO needed said. I hope it doesn't tick him off or anyone else for that matter. This site like any other forum based, sites needs regular"core" members..we have toomany that drift in and out, who used to call this home.
