QAD Rest question again..

Ok, I saw on here where some guys were talking about shooting this rest with Blazers and most said they didn't have issues. I bought the Pro Hunter series, the 49$ one and want to shoot 2" blazers, Germ said I may get some bounce back from the fork part of the rest after I release. Anyone experience this??

Rhody... i think you are right... I'm going to go back to the pro shop and see if I can paper tune it again and start from scratch... for some reason I seem to get better paper tune w/ feathers than w/ blazers

Are you saying the bounce back is damaging the 2" Blazers?

What I find with rests like the ripcord, and QAD, arrow spine and nocking point is critical. You want an arrow little on the stiff side. As most know, an arrow shot from a release usually oscillates up and down where an arrow from finger release, horz. With todays perfect center shots and shoot thru, or drop away rests, spine tends not to be so critical as in the old days. But when you add a rest like ripcord or QAD, you don't want that arrow oscillating more than it has too, and possibly hitting the rest bar or fork.

If a person finds they are getting thier blazers tore up, they need to start looking at spine or nocking point.

I shot a QAD all last year and loved it. I to shoot balzer vanes w/ cock vane up. My bow is well paper tuned. I believe you may have some tuning problems. I hope u resolve your issues because i love my rest and have shot it perhaps 8or 900 times.
