I was thinking the same thing...combination of Latissimus dorsi and deltoid?? The muscle on me that is enlarged is the trapezious (behind the neck) and deltoid on my bow arm a little too.

LOL, I'll admit that I looked up "Latoid" on yahoo because I didn't know there was a muscle called the "latoid"... All the results came back as "Altoid":D:D:D

So are we talking about the lats or the delts... or the traps? My right trap is larger, before surgery it kind of "moved" to help protect the joint when it was injured.

Could be what he's refering to is actually the rhomboid/trapezius. Upper back/shoulder area. I know that both of these on my right side are larger than the left.

The latissimus dorsi (lats) are located below the trapezius muscle and slightly below and next to the rhomboid. All three are used when drawing/holding peak weight.

The latoid is the muscle along your ribs...its the muscle that gives you that V-shape when viewed from the backside...although must of us are Fat and married not so we can't see it....friggin women....wait tell I tell the wife I'm going to Utah Elk hunting...Throw her 500 hundy for a shopping spree and I'll be goodBut I love her with all my soul and all my bow....I mean heart.
