RE: QAD Ultra Pro Rest
I actually got more responses to this post than expected. It must be pretty decent then...that's reassuring.:)

RE: QAD Ultra Pro Rest
On second thought, I had one little "issue" with both of mine. Tried some of those FOB plastic arifoil things. To my surprise, it hits the fork of the rest near the bottom. I guess the "tines" of the fork get out of the way quick enough so that there is no problem with the Blazers - or any other regular fletching - when oriented so the cock vein is up. You can hear the plastic FOB hit and it pulls the moleskin up from the fork a little. I'm using the shorter fork - but, because of insufficient vertical adjustment, could not use the longer fork even if I wanted to change my setup to work with the FOB's. No big deal. Was just playing anyway.

What is FOB?

RE: QAD Ultra Pro Rest
It's a little plastic airfoil, that replaces the fletching - made by company called Starrflight. It fits right at the nock end of the arrow and is actually retained by the nock. They are known for great long range accuracy with broadheads. One down side, though, is that they come off (along with the nock) when the arrow passes through something. Most folks use a very bright cresting so they can find their arrow. Something I thought I would try that didn't work out . . . . .

RE: QAD Ultra Pro Rest
I installed the QAD LD Pro Series rest on my bow and haven't had any issues yet. I was amazed at how quickly I could get the arrow in tune with the rest without a headache afterwards. This rest has a "thumbs up" from me.
