Noah you can hang them at 16 feet if you want, but youll want something above you to grab on to. I like to hang my stand at about 15 feet when i use my 16 foot sticks, this allows me to be able to step down onto the platform of the stand rather than stepping up into it. Alos when you hang your stand make sure you use a climbing harness, this will alow you to have both hands free. if you buy any of the gorilla stands like i recomended youll get a great full body harness with the climbing belt with it. If not you can get them at walmart or fleet farm.
