Heck I'd love to use my bow in spring turkey season and I might take it along, but I have never killed a turkey and will be hunting by myself. I need the shotgun

your reading me wrong buddy but i can understand that with how i mistype some times
i am a bow hunter through n through my two misses were with bow my reflex excursion both at about 13 yards it was my first time drawing on a deer and my first time on a buck
both standing still broadside quarter away
i am not mad about the time gun season is i do not mind the fact it is that late
since i bow i hunt i like it but i do gun hunt.
I did not last season but i plan to buy a muzzle loader this season.
What i am mad at is the fact that some bow hunters think there on the top of the world and everything should fit around bow season
I have no problem with moving gun season out of the rut
But i think gun hunters should get a fair chance just like bow guys.
Two week to a month is a little different then 6 months of bow season.
Again i have nothing against bow hunters or gun hunters or the dnr
i just think everyone should get a fair chance

me i do not really care much about antler size right now i am out for meat .
But with that said i am not going to shoot a deer 100 or less
to me a doe is better then a small buck
I am all for letting them grow i pasted a few deer that were small bucks

also i am looking at buying land i will do things qdm food plots let the little guys go
maybe some out of season feeding since baiting is illegal in indiana what ever it takes

i did not mean to say that i do not care about size
i mean that for me i hunt for meat
i let the small bucks go because there not as good eating as a doe
so if i am going to shoot a buck i want a big rack
