Leave the quiver on or take it off?

If you are hunting do you leave it on or take it off. What is your reason?

Deoends on what stand im in and what mood im in really i have no reasoning for either, as long as it doesnt feel off balanced or make unwanted noise/vibration it all good

I always take it off. It's too bulky. I end up hitting my arrows on every limb, branch, and on my stand. If I leave it on, I can't hang my bow on the tree the way I like. And if it's on, I also can't rest it on my lap. And it throws off my bows balance, affecting accuracy.

The only reason I'd keep it on is for spot and stalk, but I rarely do that.

It all depends on if I am stalking or if I am sitting, I deffantly take it off when I am in a stand of blind.

Never have it on I say. I have mine attached to my hunting pack

I hunt with mine on for one reason........follow up shots. I can fire off follow up shots pretty quickly.....and I've emptied my quiver mre than once.

My '07 buck I just got back......I got off 4 shots at him......hitting him 3 times in a span of maybe 20 seconds. If I'd had to fumble with a quiver elsewhere.......I KNOW I couldn't have done that.

My vote goes along with PA/Hardwoods.... Just last week I took my quiver mount off my bow... permanently. My back quiver is on order.

Right now my quiver stays on my bow... Am thinking of getting a removable one for next year though....

Jeff, You tell it like it is....I laugh every time I see the so called pros on t.v. fumbling, stumbling around trying to get that second arrow to shoot.

Mine is attached to both of my bows to where it requires tools to remove. So it stays on. Doesn't add much weight. And the arrows don't weigh much either.
