We sell Martin in our shop and so far out of three different 2008Martin SlayerX's that we have tested.We have yet been able to get one to reach the clamed 350 f/s mark. We have told this to Martin and they said they have had a bach of limbs that were between 15 to 20 f/s slower. That is right on the numbers that our bows were comming in at, between 330 and 335 f/s. Martin is not sending us any more SlayerX's until they have the slowerlimb problem worked out. They do claim that they have several dealers who don't have the bad/slow limbs and are reporting getting 350 to 355 f/s. Don't know if its true or not and in a way I don't care either because that bow is anything but smooth and quiet. Sure its still faster than my Mathews Drenalin but my bow is plenty fast for me and is smooth and dead quiet to boot. When we get some more bows in we will do speedtesting againand I would be happy to post the speed numbers for those who care.

There is no doubt High Country is the fastest out there. Two years ago at the ATA show, I seen Spencer Lane shoot a TSSR at 407fps, not that was not with an arrow that could be hunted with, but if you team up their bows (the new Speed Force) with their Speed Pro arrow (5 gpi) you have the fastest bow on the market, no doubt.

umm...ok. High Country hasclaimed I think like 360 out of an Iron Mace last yearwith their arrows. Those Black Mambas are screamers, a guy at a 3D shoot had one and that thing was scary fast. IBO I'm picking the 82nd.
