ruff score maybe age?
 

can i get a ruff score and maybe an age on this buck? I have to wait till next year to try for him since my season is over. now i hope he drops his rack near my bait pile. also do you think he could be that big maybe bigger next year?

guesing 130-135 not very good at guessing the score on a deer but what do you think the inside spread is 25, nice looking deer next year he should be realy nice.

I would say around 145-152". Probably a 3 1/2 with good genes for a 4 1/2 year old.

Less than 135, the only thing it has going is its width. Not much mass oe heighth. Nice deer dont get me wrong, but I say 3.5 yr old max.

I'm saying 146 and a 4.5 yr old.

I wish I could see him from the side, though (age-wise).

Take it with a grain of salt. I'm a complete novice at this. I'm looking at his face structure, transition in his neck to his body, and overall body mass. Also look at how wide his neck is compared to his face (and again,.....that face is no small one).

He could easily be older.

In my area, that thick neck and broad shoulders would indicate 4.5+.

I also think he will go in the 130's and be 3.5 I think he will get taller next year but I don't hink he will add much mass. Nice buck. Knowing where the buck is from would help on the age.

140-145" looks fairly old, id guess 3.5 or 4.5, maybe 5.5, notice the sagging stomach? old to me, since old around here seem's to be 2.5/3.5.

He is an older deer, at least 4.5...probably. Heavy chest, sagging belly, roman nose.

Without a decent broadside pic I'd say in the 4-5 range @ 130-140. That deer aging on the hoof is a tough business for me, I'm in treestands (observing) our herd starting in MAY-SEP so I can see every buck multiple times each year, thats how I age our bucks.

142 gross at 3.5 IMO no way that deer is 5.5 maybe 4.5 but theres no mass there

I aint good at scoring but I would say maybe 145ish

He is definitely an older deer 4.5 is the youngest I think he could be.

I have no problem calling him a 150" buck! He's a huge 8 point!! Definitely a 4.5 in my opinion.

It takes a lot to get 150" bot I'm guessing he's about there.Age is harder to say, he could surprise you there.He could be 3.5 with lots more go.He's not overly massive so Id bet 3.5.Just MHO

A side pic would be good to see body traits. Judging by the thick neck where it meets the chest and his legs looking very stocky and short along with the one pick where you can kind of see his belly that is large but i can't tell from the pick what this bucks waist and belly line look like. I would say just from the evidence that he is in the 4.5 range. another thing that would help would be to know what region these pics where taken in.

140" MABY JUST UNDER, HE ISN'T 150" YET, HE HAS WIDTH AND HEIGHT, NOW ALL HE NEEDS IS MASS, HE ISN'T 150 YET BUT NEXT YEAR I AM SHURE HE WILL CATCH UP WITH THE MASS MEASUREMENTS. EXCELENT BUCK, IT IS GOOD THAT YOU DIDN'T KILL HIM YET.

Mass really has little to do with age.................look at the body features of that buck, he is old at least 5.5............as for score i would say in the mid 140's gross..........just looking at his belly will tell you he's older than 4.5.

i dont have any side pics cuase he dont come to my feeder that often just stays in the back ground. but i def. cant wait till next year. you think he will be atleast as big?
