Basement range

Here's my new basement range. I can shoot almost 7 yards woo hoo! I figure it'd be good practice regardless, shootin's shootin. I think it's perfect for "blind bailing". I just put the pin on the center, close my eyes, and feel through the shot. I think it's helped already. The beauty is I shoot at least a dozen arrows a day now.

When, not if, I hit it, I will definitely post a pic. I'm more worried about my $600 RC airplane sitting on the workbench on the right.

The one on the bench is an electric. Its a ultrafly ultimate bipe. I have a couple of gas and a couple of elecs. Started to really get into it but then started to work on the house and ran out of time and money. Hope to get back into it this year.

Sweet room! When you close that door, does it have a sign on it that says "range closed"? And for Abarofsoap, I'm hoping for a complete arrow disintegration so there will be no bounce back.

RE: Basement range

Nope...Iam thinking of putting a 2ft x 5ft door in the wall so I get my 23yrds back, didnt think about it when I built the man cave...

The way that I look at it is practice is practice. I am in the process of finishing my basement range. I will be able to shoot 22yrds. I can't wait till it is done.

Mine's about 15yds thanks to the crawl space, it's poured concrete, so I have my target up on a skateboard with a string, i roll it back to shoot 15yds, otherwise id be shooting, 10yds? pretty funny, but works pretty well I must say. Once shot outside, and guess who showed up? the police! welcome to suburbia.
