Guardian vs. Drenalin/DXT

I was wondering if anyone has had or has shot both bows extensively and can give a brief report on the two in comparison. (mainly Guardian and Drenalin 2008's)

I am looking for a honest, non-bias opinion. I know this forum is mostly Bowtech guys. :)

RE: Guardian vs. Drenalin/DXT

I like the drenalin, and like the switchback, but after shooting the DXT, I couldn't stand it. It was not balanced at all. Would want to fall forward after teh shot, and no way to counter balance becasue they took the stud out to screw in a stablizer in the back of the riser.

the guardian was much heavier, and much more stable and much more quiet.

If you want light, I would go with the regular drenalin, or switchback XT, if you want quiet, and the ability to be able to change strings and components without a press, go with the guardian.

I owned a regular Switchback. Shot the Drenalin and the DXT.

My thoughts are much like BC's. I bought my son a Guardian.

RE: Guardian vs. Drenalin/DXT

Love the draw on the DXT. I feel like it is too short. I like my Drendalin better. With an STS, it is very quiet and dead in the hand.

The Guardian was a dream at the shot, it was getting there that I didn't like. It felt like it was excessively heavy for a bow with just a rest on it and I hated the draw cycle, but that is very subjective to each person.

If I were forced to choose between the DXT and the Guardian, I'd probably go with the DXT just because I think for hunting having a draw cycle you are comfortable with is very important. Personally, neither bow would be a first choice for me.
