RE: If You Thought They Might Make It...
If it is your first archery buck, without a doubt shoot him! After you get a few under your belt, then you can be a little more selective.

RE: If You Thought They Might Make It...
I've let by a pile of 3.5 year olds that would of scored in that 120" to 130" area. 4.5 year old and up is usually open game to me (Depending on Rack size) but some 3.5 year olds would get an arrow too if there 140" and up.

I agree with MK if it is your first take it.This will also ia a great morale booster and will help keep your hope alive that you will get a shot at a monster someday.

RE: If You Thought They Might Make It...
If I'm at Home I am looking for a P&Y class buck. It makes no difference what time of year it is. I'll shoot all the Does I need for eating. If he wasn't big enough in Nov., he won't be big enough in Dec. I have nothing against different goals than my own, bigger or smaller. Each has to decide. It's really what I like about Bowhunting. It is a one on one sport, me against the Game I plan to Kill;)

A 3.5 year old in my area would be down instantly. No regrets. Just a big smile.

he wouldnt have made it to 3.5, because I would have taken him at 1.5 if it made me happy.[8D]:D
