RE: In your opinion, who makes the best FACTORY grip ?

The Bowtech grips are the best I've felt. The Hoyt grips are nice too.

The WORST goes without saying....;)

I really like the Mathews grip. I'm shooting a Q2XLso maybe they've changed since they introduced it. If anything, this grip is too small for my liking. I've had to wrap some foam around the grip to build it up, or maybe I just have big hands?

Its a toss up between Bowtech and Hoyt, for me. Both slimmer grips, which I love. I can't get used to the fatty grips on Mathews and Ross bows.

That isn't to say they're bad bows. :eek:I'm just used to the slim grips.

Bowtech and Hoyt are nice. I like the Ross grips too. However, I like the skinny grips on the XForce's and a few other PSE's.

I love the bowtech grips. they just feel right. I even like my girlfriends Micro Adrenaline grip, its a little too small of course, but its not bad at all.

RE: In your opinion, who makes the best FACTORY grip ?

I like the grips on my Ross. Like bowtech grips, I've only felt a few of the Reflex line of bows (same grips on Hoyt lineup I assume?), and thought they were decent. Now the grip on my Jennings...lol! It's like a small sapling is attached to the riser.

RE: In your opinion, who makes the best FACTORY grip ?

I like the grips on Hoyts, Bowtechs and the Pearson Angel Wing, but not their Bio-grip. If I had to choose only one of those three; it would be the Pearson Angel Wing.

I love the Hoyt grips and I give them a slighty nudge above the BowTechs. I can't get use to the Mathews grips, as others have said, too think for my liking!

How long is it going to take a Mathews junkie to come in and flip because people don't like the factory grip on the Mathews bows? ;):D

The grip on the Airbornes, General and the Diamond Marquis are all the same, fantastic in my opinion.

I was always a fan of the Hoyt grips and the new Bowtech grips are the same/similiar and perfect in my opinion.

Like others, the one reason I would never chose a certain brand is that big thick chunk of wood on those bows. Way too big!

RE: In your opinion, who makes the best FACTORY grip ?

The Mathews Apex series of bows in my opinion have the best factory grip available Thin, nice defined corners, and a shelf that provides me a spot to put my thumb without tension in it. I truly think this is the best grip out there, only problem with it is that it gets mighty cold when hunting with it. I also like the Martin Scepter IV grip, and the Bowtech's that come with a Shrewd from the factory. The new grips offered by PSE (I think they call them the b.e.s.t. grips or something like that) are also fantastic. To be honest I don't like much else thats an off the shelf type of gripright now.

One other thing I consider as well, especially in a target bow, is where on the riser the pivot point of the grip falls. Is the grip the center of the riser, or is the berger hole, and how is this going to affect the tiller settings I need to get the holding characteristics I want?
