Check out my reviews: http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2629922

I thinkboth bows are extremely quiet for Speed bows. I did take time to set timing and adjust the short stop string suppressors. I know down through the years some of the bows I've seen supposedly ready to shoot at some shops made me shake my head in disbelief. Since both bows have the exact same String Suppressor I highly doubt any noise difference is coming from there.

I just got back from shooting the 101st.(I've already shot the 82nd) To me both bows felt the exact same. I didn't really here that loud thump that everyone was talking about. It felt the same, sounded the same, and is fast as can be. I think i will be buying a 101st.

The 101 is a Great Bow! I talked to a guy from LA today and he was asking about the 82 and I proceeded to compare things between it and the 101. Long Story short he hadn't heard of the 101, but he has Now!!

I shot them both at my shop and did not notice a thump at all. Now niether one of them shot like the General but I thought they shot real nice for the speed.

HHmm, I only got to shoot the 101st a couple times at a show. I may just have to order one to play with!

Shot the 101st tonight and it is the same as the 82nd, both really fast and super quiet.

So if a few people are hearing this obvious noise, does that mean there are some defective bows floating around?

I shot them today, the thing I couldn't get over was the wild draw cycle. How the heck could a person draw something like that when your sitting in the cold for a couple hours? It draws so hard right away and then breaks over so fast.
Fit and finish was first class thou.

How many pounds were shooting. Both the bows i shot were set on 60# and the draw cycle was kinda "agressive" but it wasen't bad. Felt good to me.
