Slightly over-spined will work better all around than under-spined.

You wouldn't necessarily want to. But with most traditional archery equipment, if you were to error, it would be better to error on the underspined side. Opposite for compound.

For the shots I take in the field....overspined is fine. I haven't heard a thing that has convinced me that being WAY overspined is bad. Refer to the first words in my post.
