what is the formula for kinetic energy?

and also how is the ibo determined for each bow?

idk if this helps http://www.thearcheryhut.com/calculators.php

it shows how you calculate KE, and also shows how they get the IBO specs.

Go there for your KE calculations and,

IBO 5 grains per pound on arrow weight to draw weight of the bow and specd with a 30" draw.

Ex: 70 lbs, 350 grain arrow, 30" draw.

The actual formula is;

speed x speed x weight / 450240

KE= 1/2 mv^2,

that's just from memory though. M- mass, v- velocity, mass in kg, v in meters/sec.

That's great if you drive on the left side of the road....[8D]
