I would have to say a complete pass through... something about seeing your arrow soaked in the red stuff, and not to mention the blood trails you can get from a pass through.

Pass through for sure! For the blood trail, if for no other reason.

If you're using a good broadhead and you are a good archer, pass through is what I want. 2 sided blood trail, massive hemoraging, hypobulimia, and your arrow sticking out of the ground aids in tracking and tells a tale about the hit. Especially because most broadside hole(entrace) are higher up on the deer, and exit holes are low. With a high hit, the blood has to travel over alot of hair, therefore the blood trail may be non exitent for a while.

With a low hit, the blood will be vast, close to where the animal was when shot. So, I want an entrance AND exit....

For Turkey, definetly want the arrow to stay in.

what exactly is hypobulimia...hypo = abnormally decreased...bulimia = eating disorder characterized by episodic binge eating followed by purging behavior.

a pass thru without question! massive external hemorrhage is the best result!

If you think about it logically, the arrow staying in the animal is going to do more damage, every move that deer makes is going to cut more and more and more. But personally, I'd rather have it pass through aswell.

Ryan.

X2. Big game = pass through. Turkey and geese = stay in.

Pass through most deffantly, seems that just a arrow sticking in the deer dosent cause more damage.
