funny story...i had a blind date with a co-worker of a friend of mine and im not sure if she actually knew the blind dates background or if it was some kinda crazy joke...but the gal was a fundraiser and hardcore member of PETA!!!!!! it was going good until she asked what i was doing on the weekend... she went off like a $2 pistol when i said i was hunting.
its not easy to find someone that not only condones hunting but that would be willing to partake in it! |

ORIGINAL: DropTine249 theres no way i could marry a women if she didnt allow me to do what i love doing. Now, there is such this as a compromise, but she'd better not get used to it. I have never had a problem going hunting, to the gym, jogging, mountain biking, beach bars, surfing, pistol range or anything..not one woman I have ever dated had an issue with those things, and they are time consuming activities. I think that time is the major issue when it comes to hunting. I see peoples wives complain abou time away, not so much the killing of an animal. |

I guess I'm different....
The fact that my wife DOESN'T hunt and has no interest in it....I happen to like that. Supportive in all ways to my pursuits.....but she cares nothing about it. I like it that way. |

Cool turn out on my post...I remember when I was 21 I was dating this gorgeous italian girl that was around 24...she was my so called suger mamma...bought me everything at the time...The summer with her was like a dream come true....when hunting season came around it was...why are you going up north again?....why do you like to kill little animals....and she loved cats....Not a big cat fan[:@]..it was a downward spiral from there.....no regrets....I had to end it....God bless a women in camo...
However...I understand the other side as well....if a women supports you....but does not hunt.....its kinda nice to break away and stand alone in a tree.....read my signature...it tells it all for me..... |
