How many pounds do you hunt with?

So how many pounds do you guys like to pull whenhunting?
For me 70# at max, it can get cold where i hunt, and alot of clothes makes that even difficult to pull back.

I think seeing the percentages shows a more clear answer, and its pretty intersting imo to see how some people hunt.
Not to mention alot more people like to vote rather than leave a reply,so you get a ton more answers this way. Alsoi know theres alot of educated and experinced bow hunters here, and i really do take there advice seriously and try to match how they hunt.Im not just thinking of random questions, these are things im going to do to my bow.
In fact i never do anything to my bow, with out checkin here first, or looking at reviews.

With the bow I've got now, in early season it's 50lbs. Later in the season with heavy clothes on, I crank it down to 45.

I've been hunting about 60# for over 25 years. I have killed many deer. most were total pass thru. I hunt large body northern whitetails. The biggest dressing at 225#. Many had 1 rib broken and some had 2 ribs broken.

Whatever poundage ends up on my bow after tuning it to the arrow I want to shoot.

Ditto for me. I normally get 50-60 lb bows then I pick an arrow that spines for 55 lbs or so. Then I bare shaft tune and adjust the limbs to match the arrows and my set up.

66 lbs for me. Any more and I strain a little to hold it for a few seconds, causing me to shake.

69# right now. For many yearsI shot 65# for hunting but this Black Iceis so smooth and easy to draw it actually feels much easier than my old bows.

I used to hunt with 90# but for me 60# is all I need. Bows today are much more effecient and pack a lot more KE per #

Try that with a recurve in zero temps, its tough but I love it!! I pull 73lbs back with my recurve.
