I have 2 seasons: deer season and waiting for deer season.
what am I going to do?

I'm going to shoot at the range, and shoot in some 3D shoots. When I'm not doing that, I'm going to shoot in my backyard. I also have the option of hog hunting, there is a bounty on them all year long here in South Ga.

Well heck. I got a limit of walleyes yesterday. Was on th ice again today and drew a blank. Go figure. I'll do some more of that. I'll play with the little salmon eggs we just moved into the hatchery. I'll get in some early golf in another month and a halfor so. Oh, walleye season will open back up the first Sat in may. Then comes turkey season and LOTS more golf. Practice Practice Practice with the stick and also with the bow. Have a week of fishing in Northern Ontario in June. More golf and start checking out the local deer. Before you know it.... it'll be here and I won't feel ready because I've wasted too much time playing golf. It's a vicious circle I tell you. I'm sorry, I just don't have time to worry about what to do until bow season opens.

Today I made a string for my recurve,cut some arrow shafts to size.I'll fletch them up this week sometime.I usually build a couple dozen arrows for the 3D season and practice.
I also shoot a DART league--got 8 weeks left of that,then 3D shoots will start happening.Bowfishing in the Spring is alot of fun,as is turkey hunting.Trout fishing is pretty good this time of year also.Right now,hunting is the last thing on my mind-got plenty to keep me busy

Those are some great bucks you've taken magicman.

I hunt all season long these days.. so really it never stops. Shed season will really begin very soon. Then there's prepping stand site's.. getting gear ready.. shooting the bow.. scouting.. acquiring new lands.. ETC ETC. It never really ends.. does it?

As a general rule I don't mind hunting season ending. I like shooting my bows and there isn't much of that during season. The rest of the year I like to shoot 3D and some target, fish and scuba dive all over the world.

Seems like a lot of wasted time just waiting for hunting season. There's life to live beyond hunting.

Right now I shooting a winter league...then its turkey season & after that:
shooting in the yard
shooting 3d
Fishing
Hang out with the fam on the boat
riding the Harley..
Can't forget the honey do list...

I got invited to go turkey hunting if I can get a tag. I heard there could be left over tags so I will have to look into it. I love to listen to them gobble. Wouldnt care if I don't get one.

I will be practicing, practicing, practicing....trying to get my poundage up.

2007 was my first season hunting; I wasn't able to get anything with my bow; making me wanting it even more!

I shoot the target in my backyard when weather permits. And my boyfriend and I are doing some of the 3D shoots.

I know that I am excited about next season.

HOWEVER...I can't forget about........FUN IN THE SUN.....BEACH.....LAKE...BOATS.....YEAH, YOU KNOW...ALL THAT SUMMERTIME STUFF:)

Going shed hunting/scouting tomorrow. I will continue to do that, work on securing properties for this fall, shoot a lot of 3D, crappie/bass fish, coach my daughter's softball team......I'll be plenty busy.

Wack some crows and chase some bunnies until end of March. And then its Turkeys in April May...Late May is a black bear hunt....June - August shoot the bow and run the trail cam...and before I know it....

Back in the stand smelling that cool autumn air.....:)

3D, Shed hunt, scout, food plots, turkeys, bass fish, various watersports, scout some more, and not sleep for a month or so and then hunting season will be here.

Turkey in the spring & fishing of course. Take the family on a vacation or two. WILD HOGs are open year round so I make 2-5 trips to Texas, Oklahoma for them & Exotics sometimes. Bowhuting never ends if you look a little. Tourny 3-Ds are always great fun.
I am fortunate to be able to afford the "low budget" vacations.

Shed hunting, Trail Cams, and in 7 weeks I'm heading to NE. to chase Merriam Turkeys around for a few days. April will find me in MO. to hunt the Split season for Turkeys. May I drew an IL. Turkey permit. June the Wife and I are going on a fishing trip. She's the expert there;)Then Oct. IL Bow opener. Back to NE. in late Oct. to chase Mule Deer. Back to IL. in Nov. for Rut, and then back to NE for Mule Deer and Merriams in Dec.

2 more months of snow skiing.

Following my son's high school baseball team and then coaching them in tournaments during the summer.

Mountain biking and road biking to get in shape for Colorado bowhunting season which will start the last weekend of August.
