Super stretch gun sling. $15. I actually used it for a few years, it worked as advertised. It ended up costing me a deer and I gave up on it. I still have the thing, and yea it's pretty stupid. It's kind of a big production to get your gun up to your shoulder, that's what cost me a deer. I look back and haven't bought too much stupid stuff. I'm cheap, and very skeptical about gimmiky crap.

The only thing that I bought that proved to be totally worthless was an anti-fog face mask the fits up under your glasses. Of course your glasses aren't going to fog....you can't exhale with it on. Now I just wear contacts to hunt with on cold days.

Fiberglass arrows, the ones that were hollow with all the perferations in them. So the arrow would fill up with blood and drain out the arrow. Great concept but when you shoot down how is the arrow going to drain.

I was at the deer/turkey expo, & this guy was selling some type of rubber gun sling that stretches. The idea was to be able to have it on your shoulder, & "wing it" around to the front w/o taking it off. I don't have to tell anymore about what happens when you "wing" your gun to front w/a giant rubber band. Not to mention it smelled like a petroleum product.

I had a big hunting weekend planned, but had a cough. So, I bought a cough suppressor.
Haven't used it since.

Second stupidest was "earth scent wafers." I don't want to smell like an old tub of fishing worms.
