One that is very sharp and placed in the vitals!:)Or, one that is very sharp with a very large cutting diameter that is placed in the head/neck area. Both are very effective.

Your favorite deer hunting broadhead right through the vitals should do the trick quite nicely. If you want a BH just for turkey the new magnus bullheads look pretty neat. http://www.magnusbroadheads.com/bullhead.html

A regular deer hunting broadhead will work just fine for a body shot, if you can keep it from blowing through the turkey. Either a low poundage bow or some arrow accessory to limit penetration (Grasshopper washer or Adder washer) will prevent a pass through. With the head stuck in the bird, they are pretty much toast. Can't run. Can't fly.

I like the 125gr. hypershock, just for turkey, not deer. Flies well, and has a 2 3/4" cut.

You gonna mount it? No?

RAGE.

I used the spitfire, last year. And although mine passed through at 30 yds......my bird only went 10. I'll likely use the same head, this year.

I just got a pack of 2 blade rages on sale at Cabelas. Hopefully they will get to taste some turkey blood this spring as well as pronghorn this coming fall in SD.:D

I killed my Fall Merriam with a Slick Trick, but for Spring Turkeys I'll load the NAP Gobbler Getters up again. I think the 100 grain Magnus Bullhead looks nice, but I'll stick with the Gobbler Getters again.

I took both my KS longbeards with a Rocky Mountain Snyper....my choice for whitetails too.

Neither gobbler made it out of sight.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I LOVE NAP Gobbler Getters.

I shot my bird last year with one at 6 Steps. 72# bow, no pass through. SWEET.

I shot my bird last year with Rocket Hammerheads. They performed well, but that head ain't made to be reused.... I wouldn't shoot it at a deer. But it did the turkey in very nicely.
