what would you rather have?

would you rather have 300 acres in the top P&Y/ B&C county in the nation, or 700 in an average county? you manage either one completely for bowhunting whitetails.

RE: what would you rather have?

If the average county includes where I live I'd take the 700 that is local. It would give me many more opportunities to hunt it.

RE: what would you rather have?

I would rather have 5 acre's where the big bucks live, than 10,000 where they are not common.

I don't even think I live in an "average" county in America as far as whitetails.....and I'd STILL take the 700.

Good point, Greg.

RE: what would you rather have?

I would be very happy with either, but I am gonna go with the 700 and put the work in to improve it.

RE: what would you rather have?

I'd go broke mangaing 700 acres with food plots, machinery, and all the other expenses. 300 acres I could do a good job with. Now add in that I also win the lottery with the 700, well then..:D

RE: what would you rather have?

I'll take the 700 in the average because if managed properly, that 700 could grow above average in an average area.;)

This is what I was thinking.
