I'm next to a high fence..

Look at the place that just opened up this year right next to one of the farms I hunt on, I can see the high fence after leaf drop. http://www.buckhavenwhitetails.com/
The prices are not bad though huh?[:'(]

Whitetails
Up to 129 7/8” $2,000
130” - 139 7/8” $2,500
140” - 149 7/8” $3,500
150” - 159 7/8” $5,000
160” - 169 7/8” $6,000
170” - 179 7/8” $7,500
180” - 189 7/8” $9,500
190” - 199 7/8 $11,500
200”+ By Agreement

To be able to divide these deer up in 10 inch increments, I would think they must be ear tagged or something. I just hope whoever shoots these zoo animals leaves the ear tag in when they mount it.

And all I had to pay for my 139" buck this year was $27.00 for myMN tag. What a bargain.

To each their own, but I hate that fact that this place is described as a "hunt." He has two pens that are each about 100 acres. That is not a hunt to me, its a shoot.

,
I had the opportunity to invest in a deer farm, all they wanted was 6 people($1000 each) to buy a (good gentetic)doe, and some seman with good genetics, now a couple of years later, a couple of their bucks sold for between $18,000, and $20,000![:@]
I am being hipicritical, I hate high fence hunting, but I am thinking about raising some deer, if I can get a profit like that!

A few people I know raise deer as well and I think they profit very well from it. They don't offer any kind of hunting but they are always buying and selling. Very spendy to get into but the rewards I think are pretty good on the money end.

Look at this guy's price list and then try to make an argument that size doesn't matter. lol

What amazes me in a disgusting way about these type places is that there is a DEMAND for this activity.

How anyone could enjoy this or feel like they accomplished anything in one of these scenarios is beyond me, but hey, its there 5 grand not mine. But then again, I have non hunting friends that don't understand why I enjoy doing what I do either.

A friend of mine who lives out west does some guiding part time. He also on occasion helpsguide in a high fenced operation to help out a friend of his. There is a fellow who lives close to me that flies out there every year to take the biggest Mule Deer on the property. He does not bow hunt, kills them with a gun. The prices he pays for these Deer is beyond my comprehension. I saw a picture of the one he took last year. It scored 200+" Guys like these arenot really hunting it's likebuying furniture. It's all about decorating their rooms. It really has nothing to do with Loving to hunt. This goes on more than most people know.
Kind of makes me wanna[:'(]
