Ever wake up, roll over and think...

It just might be the day for a new bow? :D I was totally planning on keeping my vectrix until the '09s came out... but now I have this itch and I really want to scratch it. I'm thinking that I'll keep the Vectrix and get another bow... possibly open my mind a bit, ya know like explore other brands. I like the Katera, but other than the overall weight I don't personally feel/see enough change to spend the cash. So maybe Bowtech... any thoughts? I'm not cool enough to shoot a Mathews;). Anyone have any suggestions?

It depends what you are looking for. If you want a smooth drawing, absolutely no hand shock, quietest bow you have ever shot, then Go with the General. If you want a smooth draw, that has a little jump to it at the shot(and when i say little i mean very little cuz I am use to a Guardian), but will scream those arrows so fast your jaw drops go with the 82.

I seem to constantly tinker and or switch gear but have slowed down considerably since my younger days - I used to impulse buy like a druken sailor but now have adopted the motto if it aint broke don't fix it - wife loves the new motto

If you are seriously looking for a Bowtech. Shoot as many of the models as you can get your hands on. There will be one that just feels best to you:DLast year for me that ended up being the Guardian.

As far as 08 the jury is still out for me;)

If you do not want the Katera and do not mind sacrificing a few feet per second. Check out the Avenger by Hoyt. I'm a Hoyt only guy so I would say stick with Hoyt

Dubbya,
If you really have that "itch,"I think there are a lot of bows out there that are great. I really would like to shoot the Bowtech 101st, Elite Xtreme XL, Bear Truth II, Diamond Black Ice, the Hoyt Katera XL and Seven 37, and the ringer would be the TecHunter from Gander Mountain. All of these seem to have an appeal to me, however, I know that I'm not gonna be buying any of them until next year at the earliest, but I'd still like to check them out. None of the Matthews bows appeal to me, nothing against them, they just don't draw me in like this group does.
