Yeah if it's not about aBowtech or a GMMAT started thread your post is going nowhere...LOL Although Hoyt is the better bow....
Keep us posted on how it shoots. And let us know some speeds under IBO regulations so we actually have an idea of how fast it is instead of using an arrow that is 200 grains to lite [:@].

Congrats on the new bow! I shot the Vectrix XL and the Vulcan last year at the pro shop I buy from. Both shot well and I thought they were nice bows. I haven't had the chance to shoot a Katera yet, but I'm sure it is a winner.

i will defin. keep everyone updated, i cant wait to get it in and tinker with it, hopefully its as good as expected. im looking for 300-310 fps out of it. 28 in draw, probably 65-67 lbs and around a 350 gr arrow. ill go to 70 if i can gain some muscle LOL guess i should get off here and hit the gym!

I'm guessing about 290-297fps, with a 28" draw, #65, and a 350gr arrow.

just a question, How are you able to come up with speeds based on those "known" numbers?

Can someone shed some light so i dont have further questions later and maybe then i can answer my own questions. Thanks, for all the insight.

Well the results are in

with a 363 grain arrow at 68 lbs 300 fps with a 28 in draw that gives me 72.56 lbs of kinetic energy

same arrow 62 lbs 291 fps
same arrrow 66 lbs 297 fps
Well i did hit the 300 mark but i guess my short draw length and the extra weight of the arrowslowed it down a little bit. My guess is itll still be fast enough!
