I really wanted to stop while I wasgoing across the mountainon my way to Jeff's house to take a picture. I was commingacross right as the sun was starting to set.It was honestly, the single mostbeautiful view I've ever seen.

Jeff's hunting spots, aren't what people think. Some are pretty close to houses but I doubt it's any different than alot of people's honey holes, including mine. |

Just cheked the update on the shoot this morning (2 day shoot at this club)..... I finished 2nd at Sage Creek, this morning. I'm thoroughly pleased with this weekend's shooting. Couldn't be happier.:) |

I was just being nosy and noticed that there was 60 people at that shoot today!!! Thats a hell of a turnout for the weather you guys described!!

Aaron you tied for 7th and got 8th due to the guy in front of you getting more 12's.
As a side note....the guy who finished 11th is a local guy, here, who's won SEVERAL indoor tournaments at my club. Outdoors.....no known yardages.....uphill/downhill......it all takes its toll on your scorecard;) |

I shot ALOT better last time... That miss on the turkey still kills me. I don't know what happened for me to miss the thing that bad? Stuff happens. I could have been in the 280's if I would have made a good shot there. With practice, I'll get there. |

This is a big NO NO at a sanctioned shoot. Vitals/scoring is never to be blocked like that. Good shooting Jeff. |

It wasn't blocked;) NOTHING between you and the 10 ring. Nothing. Now....shoot a "little" left......and that's another story.;) We had some worse than this.....but none blocking the vitals. We had a bear on No. 27 or 28 in the afternoon that was worse for Aaron and I as RH'ers. I have NO IDEA how Aaron's arrow got where it did without drawing wood.;) |

Hey guys I was there too. I was looking for you guys but I started around 11:30am. BTW - I'm the guy who got 7th in Hunter (Shootin Skinny Shafts). That was a really nice place to shoot. I havn't shot a 3D since 1994 so it was fun. It was the first time for my girlfriend (lknhuntress)and son to shoot a 3D and they really had a lot of fun.

Congrats on your fine shooting. I liked the course and the scoring system (Only Center 12s Counted). Did the other shoot score that way as well?

Yep.
Only exception was some low 12's on a few targets in VA. Otherwise.....all center 12's (we heard of these regions.....although we found them VERY seldomly;)) |

Looks like an awesome time. I think I would really have fun at one of these (get a bit frustrated I'm sure as well, not sure about my yardage estimation skills). Now I need some strings...

Buckmaster, I saw that we tied on the scores. I saw you guys talking earlier in the thread about how I bumped you. I thought it was funny that it turned out to be me. Well, good luck in the upcoming events, maybe I will see you guys at one. Maybe you will bump me next time, it's all in fun.
