Guess what Trotted in?? (Pics added page 2)
 

It's my new Double Bull Dark Horse. I own a Matrix and a T2, but this Dark Horse will soon be my favorite. Some the things I didn't like about the Matrix are now gone, but still with a Great adjustable shoot throughopening. New style door, The mesh is on the inside which will make it easier to keep tight and it will be a cinch to replace if and when that need arises. Plus it has some nice sized shooting/viewing ports out the back that will make a shot in those directions quick and quiet. The new Camo is called Ground Swat, and I am pleasantly surprised at the looks, and it ismore than open enough to blend in where ever I set it up.

All I can say is the Turkeys and Mule Deer better watch out in 08:D

Well I set it up in the house. I figured I'd watch TV from it tonight, maybe Discovery Channel:eek:I'll try to get it outside and take pics tomorrow. Just not enough room to get a decent one in here;)

I want one :Dsounds like a great one, i had bought a cheaper ameristep, its a pain to set up on the run with the ceiling support rods, this is one thing it just dosent pay to go cheap on IMO. congrats!!

Nice to see the dark horse is off to such a huge sucess! I knew my man Fran had good connections but i never thought i would see the day!

During all of our celebrations NEXT year we will be giving out ONE dark horse signature series blind autographed by each team memberand equipped with a certificate of authenticity!

The only thing i have against this blind is the new camo. probably works just as well as predator but i love the old camo they used. I know with the new ownership they are probably no longer allowed to use predator though.

If only the dark horse was offered in predator camo, then we would be in some serious business. lol

I am seriously looking into one of the remaining 360s or this new dark horse. Just got to decide if i wanna cough up enough dough for these bad boys.

One change is in the screen for the Matrix half it is now on the inside which will make it easy to keep it tight. Also with the elastic & hook setup it would take only a matter of minutes to change when that time comes:D

The new style door makes for better and easier access inside. Same heavy duty zippers and fabric

The ends of the rods now have a metal sleeve reinforcing the ends. Way to Go DoubleBull!

Here is a Black and White pic and as you can see the pattern is very open. Actually the evergreen in the background is what blobs out;)At least it is the dark area.

I love the new design, but the camo really is a turn off for me. I think my matrix will have to do for a couple years, I really do not like the camo. Now once I saw Bill Jordan hunting out of a MAX-4 double bull, but thats prob just because he has connections.

I like the old Predator MUCH better than this new camo! They shouldn't of tried to fix it, it wasn't broke!;)

Actually I have the Old Predator on my other 2 DBBlinds and I was surprised by this new Camo. I think it has very good contrast and is a pattern on a bigger scale. I think it will work very nice and bottom line, that's all that matters.

I'm a big fan of Predator Camo, and I have 2 sets, except inside my Blind, then out comes the Black Gear;)

Great thread dan! I am still waiting for my shipment to arrive. Hopefully today is the day.

I really like the new camo from what I have seen in the pics. It is going to blend in great where I deer hunt so I am not concerned about it. Most people brush them in anyway so it isnt going to matter as much which camo it is.

Double bull field tested this camo for a year or year and a half and they had better results with ground swat than they did with deception. That is why they switched.

I was told that double bull came out with the camo theirselves. That would be a cool hunting outfit for sure. It would great for my areas I know. I wonder if you could get it in clothes? hmm... Good idea. I will check into that.

WOW guys! That is all I can say. I just got my first shipment of the dark horse in. I am VERY impressed.
I liked the looks of the new camo from the beginning but it is even better than I thought it was going to be. I absolutely love it.
And as far as the rest of the blind. I cant find one thing that I dont like about it. It truly is the best blind they have ever made. I will post some pics tomorrow so everyone can get a better look at them.
