Our bow season runs from middle of September to the end of January and two of the sundays were during muzzleloader and firearms. But yes, :D:DI did take advantage of it. I think we will start to get more and more sundays. We keep chipping away at the ridiculous restrictions and eventually we will get them lifted. This is one of the reason I am a member and support the Maryland Bowhunters Societyand the Maryland Sportsmen's Association. They help to change things like this.

Bruce our bow season starts the 1st sat. of Oct and closes the sat before gun season starts. Nov 17/18th or so. You can hunt with the bow during gun season, but you have to abide by the gun laws and bag limits of the gun season.

Ours is kind of like that. We actually have 5 bow seasons, 3 muzzleloader seasons and 1 firearms season. You can hunt with bow during muzzleloader and firearms so our bow season essentially runs from mid sept to end jan. You do have to follow muzzleloader rules during their antlerless season and wear orange during muzzleloader and firearms.

hunting is legal & days a week in florida, Texas, Kansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The whole reason for it being baned was in the earlier days people running dogs would run deer through the church services which were held outside so the state banned them that and The government wanted people to spend time with there familys on the lords day. I one dont agree with the law but can understand it. I can fish7 days a week in Virginia but cant hunt. Thats a little off. But bowman every year there has been a patition going around in Va. I now live in florida but used to live in Va so I know the pain of this. Last year the law makers reviewed it but didnt change it every year its worth a try to do away with the law find the patition and sign it and get others to do the same when the voice becames louder they will seriously have to think about changeing it.

Legal in MN, when you work all week and so does you old man, Sundays give you one more day to be out together.
