Bruce, let's give them the benefit of doubt, say they are killing only 3 bucks and the rest of 27 of them are does, I still am not impressed. Killing that many deer to me is absurd. I know these two guys well enough to know they ain't taking the meat to any Hunters for the hungry place, or donating it to a shelter. they may give it away, but that is it. So what Im saying is, let's say they give it away, because you know that after 12-15 deer you can't eat that much more than that in a year, let's be real, they are just killing to kill. Im not trying to impose anything, I told they were stupid and they needed to stop the trash talk between the two of them in front everyone, they were having a pissing contest, at 59 yrs old. Bruce, if you don't agree with me that's fine, I don't expect everyone too, just don't let this become an arguement for the sake of arguing.

One last thing, I think Schultzy, New, and Choppers understand me here. Im not saying that Im losing sleep over this, it may seem like it bothers me as much as some of youlike to think it does, but it doesn't, it's been going on for years down here. I simply made a statement about someone killing a bunch of deer and that I didn't agree with it, and that I wanted to see what the board thought about it. I not the ethics police, Im not turning anyone in, having serious issues with the deer herd being reduced, it was simply a question of what you think is ok. I did not intend for this to be a thread about why Im not enforcing the law, or what I aim to do about it. I just think it is rediculous to kill that many deer.. period.

VABowman, I would agree with you to an extent. I don't think it's necessary to kill that many deer (legal or not) but as long as the meat doesn't go to waste then it doesn't bother me. I certainly wouldn't do it myself. Also, I doknow the type you're talking about. They have the shoot as many deer as you can mentality, no matter what size, buck or doe, all to prove how much of a manthey are. Pretty stupid really.

The bag limits of your state determine the number.If it is legal and the animal is utilized I see no problem with it.I have heard of instances where a hunter has grown weary of killing to many deer for themselves in one season,where they grew tired of killing.I have not had that happen to me,a normal year for me is the taking of three deer.
