The field spray is on sale right now at Dick's for 7.99. I was thinking about buying some now to save for next year, but I wasn't sure if sitting for a year will have a negative effect on it. Does anyone know for sure???

I would doubt it. It would work just fine. I just mix up a batch of the homemade stuff each year cuz I'm cheap! I do like their bar soap and shampoo which was on sale as well. The shampoo is really good and a little goes a long way.

I sell DDW products in the Store I manage..... DDW has quoted me the shelf life of DDW products is 2 years.
On a side note I spoke to them yesterday and they cancelled the release of their new DDW Insect Repellant[:@]I was looking forward to using it for Bowfishing.

I think I may just wait until next year andpay full price for thefresh stuff.
This may already be the second year of it being on the shelf in a dept. store.

I think .....if it goes bad....I'll be using bad stuff, this Fall. I've some left over from both '06 and '07 and I don't plan on pouring it out.;)

I found a bottle that was three or four years old this season, and it was foul smelling. It went into the trash. I never really considered using it as I'm not going to go to all the trouble and expense to be as scent-free as possible and then risk it all by using old product.

how about FROZEN DDW????

i went fox/yote hunting saturday night...sprayed down the scentlok like i was bowhunting..them critters got noses on them...sunday, same thing...grabbed the DDW to spray down...FROZEN! lol....guess i shouldnt leave it in the truck when its 4 degrees out...but i guess anyone with a brain wouldnt be sitting in the dark when its -10 with wind chill....:eek:

wonder if my DDW body foam froze? that is in there somewhere too...:D boy would that be a bit chilly to use right about now....
