why i hate technology...
 

years ago if you ordered something from a mail order place, you had no idea when it would come...you just went about your life and when whatever you ordered came, it came.

now, with technology and the internet, we can see exactly what that package is doing. i had no idea UPS would pick-up and ship my Viper sights last night and it WOULD make it here today. luckily, i have no classes on tuesday so i got to stay home today. woke up to see that it was out for delievery at 430am. WOOHOOO!! i hurried up and did all kinds of running around getting my hair cut, getting the frog some food etc...now, im sitting here looking out the window everytime i hear a truck drive by....

cant wait to get my viper put on...doubt i get to shoot with it today, i gotta get back to school right after dinner...but friday or saturday for sure...should hopefully get it on today, unless it gets rescheduled, but its out for delivery...i havent seen that happen yet..

im scheming up a way to get my new sights set realllll close to where my current sights are set...just dont wanna head to the indoor range friday or saturday and stick one in the wall :eek:...maybe i will shoot the bag in the garage to get it close enough so i dont look terrible at the range...lol

i know you guys alll know the feeling...sitting here waitin on the brown truck because the tracking says its on its way.........[:@] i got better things to do with my day....

Actually, with the business, I have their schedules down pretty well (UPS and Fedex). But, if they are running late, I am checking the clock (especially if it is for me and not the business).

It's not the technology, it's how, or if,we choose to use it. If you hadn't opened up the tracker, you'd be blissfully oblivious and going about your normal daily routine. :D

i'll try to remember to get my hair cut next time the ups man comes to my house, maybe it will make them drive faster!;)good advice lol!

lol...yes ive owned a pacman frog since i was a kid...dad hated the thing for the longest time...then i went to college and he started feeding it for me...it was full grown and we hand fed it night crawlers or pinkies....it died right before Christmas, and i could tell dad kinda missed his "little buddy" as he called it...i went and bought him a new one....its tiny so it eats crickets...drop em in the tank and he hunts them down...pretty neat to watch..other than that he just sits there and waits for food...

so i had to get a haircut and pick up the frog food today before leaving for college...

i do love technology...but boy, waiting on a box to show up that you know is coming can tourture you...

but, my Viper just came, i just put it on....i might be in love...time to go make room in the garage to fling a couple arrows :D
