BOWHUNTING Flipper rest

This rest got my attention from Nap. No cabels, not attached to anything on the bow.

They do not make them LH, but a guy in Archery league was shooting it last night. I paid close attention and watch him shoot.

On 2 occasions I saw the rest not go down or bounced back up. When I was watching it I as sure it did not go down. It appeared to get "stuck"

Anybody using this rest?

I have it but I am waiting until after the season to check it out. Doesn't sound promising at this point LOL [:o]

I wanted to buy one, but they are not making them LH

It could have just bounce back up. It was not laying flat on the riser after he shot. Almost looked like the arrow pushed it down. It's hard to say. I really wanted to try it. NAP makes some great products.

Interesting rest, but I haven't seen one in operation yet.

They had a model design change from the original conception. When I first ordered it last summer there apparently was some issues with the design at that time. When I spoke to Len he mentioned that there was some concern as to its durability. They went back to the drawing board and came out with the design in its current look. That's why I didn't receive it until about a month ago.

Like you, I love the idea of a "standalone rest", no strings, but it will also have to work well too. Once I get it on the bow and start shooting some arrows (I'll be using aluminumand carbon)through it I'll let you guys know how it does for me. But I'll have to post that in the Bowhunting Gear Review forum and not here LMAO :D

Just post a link here to it.;)

Bruce I really want to know, and this was the new one. This guy is not the most tech savy hunter. It may have been setup wrong.

On a side note a guy had the general. The bow is they quitest bow I have heard.

Come on Germ... Why bother with other rests when you already know the ANSWER.

This baby is the Allen Iverson of archery rests.

It's like Barry Bonds - after the steroids - but before the indictment.

It's Nancy Kerrigan before the billy club.

Greg Luganis before he hit his head.

Pete Rose before he ever placed a bet...

Just looking at all those whiskers....just gets my heart racin'! What a sexy, sexy thing, that biscuit.

I like it. Maybe it's the hole...with the whiskers around it.Just really revs my engine.

One thing about that whisker biscuit - once you put something in there...if it's bigger than the hole...that sucker works like a chinese finger trap, b/c the whiskers are all going one way, and they won't let you pull it out.

I got my... umm... fingerstuck in it once. It was a bad scene.

I'm gonna stop talking now. Giving myself a timeout.
