I've known Jody for a lot of years now, just via the internet and a few phone calls... Followed all his articles, caught his video clips on NA tv too... He a whitetail maniac and a shed hunting animal.... Hes also has killed some great bucks.. I think his big kansas Typical ranks in the top 30 or somthing all time??? Nets in 182 and change I believe.. correct me if I am wrong..

I dont buy NA mag unless I know Jody has an article in it.. I'll get out and buy this one.. thanks for the info Tony

Aside from the fact that is just plain cool to see him in an HNI hat, it's a great article too. Shed poaching happens a LOT around where I live/hunt and its about time someone talked about it. Trespassing is trespassing whether you're hunting, looking for sheds, or just out for a stroll with your dog. There's not many things worse than waiting until early March to shed hunt your favorite hunting spot and finding nothing but a bunch of boot tracks of the people that were there before you.

I agree JZ and thats the problem I have on the private I hunt someone sneaks in there to do this. I have my uncle who lives there keeping an extra set of eyes on it finally.
My other issue is the farm owner states nobody else hunts out there but his 17 or 18 yr old son lets so many others out to hunt and I am not sure how to handle this.
This really messed me up this past season especially with the early gun season.

Sidenote: For you and Mike (FYI) it looks like they are going to temporarily stop the earn a buck this year/change it. The recommendations were sent in last week sometime.
What they want to do is give everyone a crack at a buck and once you kill 1 buck then any after that you must kill a doe before a buck in these previous earn a buck area's
including CWD.
