374580 minutes until I get back in the stand for bow season 2008!Guys (and gals[&:])the season is just a short few months away, whos excited?? I'll be right back im gonna start activating my carbon!

Maybe i should have opened a window when i was glueing my new arrows[&:][&:]:D

Very excited as always, the minute the past season ends.

Did a little early shed hunting on some land here that I didn't hunt much this fall. Counted at least 60-80 rubs on two ridges I haven't hunted before. Can't wait to get in there next fall and hopefully the bucks will keep traveling these ridges and drop some sheds.

I think i have learned more this year about hunting than all the things ive learned during my whole school career haha. All i think about is deer hunting. I judge distances in yards instead of feet now..I think i have a problem. I grab my bow every time i see it, put on my release and pull it back..just because... The thing that furthered my addiction is the trail camera i got for christmas. I cant sleep some nights because i am wondering what is in front of my camera. I actually drove an hour up and an hour back just to check the camera...after having it out for only 3 days...yah i think i have a problem...:D

I might be up there if my sister and brother in law are still living in IL. My brother and i took him huntingfor the first time ever..hes a city boy from new york. Hahaha he went goose/ duck hunting from 530 in the morning till 6 that night at 15 deg temp....He got the see some die hard hunters and he actually wants to go back!

A new year always brings anticipation! I am planning on hunting Turkeys in 3 states and Deer in at least 2.

I hope my Plan comes together!;)

Oh yeah!!!!!

Started clearing some trees and brush yesterday, making my food plots a little bigger. Buying a rebuilt 2 row planter, picking my trees and then planting to them!

Shed hunting in a month then planting shortly after that.

Don't get me wrong, I have a TON to look forward to next season, but there are far too many things to do in the mean time. Turkey, trout fishing, bass fishing, nascar, etc.

Lanark? Thats a little ways down there from me but if you swung up to Dubuque at some point I would take you up on that..........or if I have one down already, I would be happy to come down there:D

There's still squirrel season 'til the middle of Feb; Then there's turkeys; Bowfishing in IL, KY, east coast for stingrays, LA for gator gar and redfish; CA for wild hogs, oh, and then there's the next deer season.

If I can get my arm working again, 2008 should be fun, I look forward to it. ;)

I'm focused on becoming competitive at 3D this year, so that's got my mind occupied away from bowhunting. And, crappie fishing will begin soon, turkey season will be upon us, I'll be coaching my daughter's softball team again this year....

I have a sneaking suspicion it will be fall again before I know it.

I'm reall y stoked about this coming year, got new bow on order and booked hunt in illinois hopefully for a monster buck can't wait.
