Archery Rest - New 2003

What do think about this?

In my opinion on of the best arrow rest has just got better at the Archer Trade Association 2003 Trade Show is the Quick Shot biscuit from Carolina Archery Products, Inc. From the original Whisker Biscuit arrow rest just got better. The Quick Shot biscuit will compliment any bow but is perfectly suited to enhance an expandable broadhead setup. The entry slot is tapered to allow quick and easy arrow loading. Optional stick-on felt pads are provided for silent arrow loading.

I plan on my boy’s new bow. I love my Drop Tine Whisker Biscuit!

Seems to me the only way the bisquit worked in the first place was EQUAL distribution of fletch friction. Honestly I was always concerned that after shooting alot (which I do) that the bristles would weaken in one particular area over another making it,albeit slightly, askew. Now with this...if one vane slides through the cut and the next shot doesn't, how much difference will there be in shot placement. Maybe not enough for some guys to worry about, but too much for me! I'll stick with my MZE for now thank you!

Horntagger I'm not sure but the concept of the bisuit forces alot of contact with the arrow for the entire release. Fall away rest do just that, they drop out of the way at the shot, this helps to prevent torqueing, feather clearance. It lets the arrow be free from any interference to an extent. JMO.

The whisker bisquit is a fantastic hunting rest and this one should work great....It's exactly how I modify mine for hunting (w/ a notch) and there is no difference in accuraccy if you tune your vanes to not pass through the slot. Trying out the Trophy Taker right now.....Time will tell which is the better rest.
