Outfitter advice

Does anyone other then outfitters know of a great outfitter at a good price. Looking to bow hunt for whitetails this fall and don’t trust or know much about these online outfitters. Word of mouth is the best resource I know of but I don’t know many hunters here in western Washington state.

Exactly!!;)

Contact more than one outfitter once you decide on an area and then check references, check references, and check some more references:D

What do you expect from an outfitter? Do you want a place where there is heavy deer traffic and you can be placed? Or are you looking for an outfitter that pretty much guarantees you a mount? Where do you want to hunt? Give us something to work with here. I'd consider helping you hunt if you in turn agree to help someone else on a hunt they want in Washington state.

The area is broad. After looking at a lot of places online I'm looking more at Alberta Whitetail with a bow. Anyone have much luck there? I'm in school (Western Washington) and will have to do the hunt before fall qtr. That leaves Sept as the month to hunt. Any ideas?

I am an outfitter. I agree with this statement.

Call and check to see what other hunters have had to say about where you are going to go. Do your homework....and lots of it.

So many hunters have bad experiences with outfitters.... I have used them and some are waaay better than others.

I'm also an outfitter and totally agree as well.
