RE: Evidence supporting no flash cams.

From everything ive read posted by GregH and GMMAT in the past, i find Jeff to be very argumentative and strong minded in just about every post, i rarely (if ever) see that coming from Greg. Whats FRUSTRATING is the fact that ever thread i read becomes some type of an argument between GMMAT and ___________. YES, that was an absolute, so i guess im a bad guy :D. Personally, i find this annoying as I myself am a BEGINNER and i am trying to pull as much useful information out of each thread that i can, having to sort through all the useless banter. IF you want to argue, atleast do it through PM's where everyone else doesnt have to plow through it in a thread that it has nothing to do with. Just MY opinion and im prepared for being torn apart byJeff, i just feel like someone need to say it. :)

This is purely anectodal but the biggest buck I have ever seen on a camera, and much bigger than any live animalI have ever seen in over 20 years on this particular farm, shows up on a flash camera a few years back.

He is looking right into the camera and this is about a month before the season. Never saw any sign of hime since and he was very distinguishable as he had a large drop tine.

Did the flash scare him off and would an IR or no camera at all made any difference? I don't know and never will.

But today, I will use only an IR camera. Kinda like you guys who believe in scent lock. A lot of you recognize it may have limited effect, but it can't HURT anything.

Granted, the flash gives you a better picture, but for me it is not worth the CHANCE that it might spook that one individual monster buck that is scared of everything and hence why he got so big in the first place.

Get a grip, GMMAT, you're the one who turns every post into one about you.

I get tons of PMs asking that I not be driven away by you..... fat chance.

I get tons of Pms referring to your self important know it all attitude..... true.

I get more PMs saying that you really don't know what you're talking about......... a lot of times true.

You are simply annoying like the teachers pet.

You don't have enough experience to belittle.

the "loser" was what you were when you compared your 2 seasons to my first 2 seasons.

I did not discredit your Taxi's aging skills, I discredited the method.

Never belittled your hunting around houses etc, just said deer in this habitat may not be camera shy.

Never said you were a liar abour anything......... may have said you are confused, which you obviously are.

You have been personal by calling me legend, first one to start with the name calling..... look it up. I thought it was funny.

You sure have tryed to warp things out of shape, Atlasman you are not!

I was going to suggest that you go double check these things that you tried to twist around but you're too wound up already. Instead, try getting out your little mat and take a nap. Someone's cranky. LMFAO!!:D

Dont take it the wrong way Greg, i just think sometimes it takes someone from outside the bantering to point a few things out. You dont need to appologize to me.
