Arrows...
O.K. I will be getting my bow real soon. I will have a 29" draw shooting 70#.
Whatare some goodarrows to pick up for speed/accuracy but not top end $$$? I would like to spend under $50 at first for 1/2 dozen. I took a lot of time researching bows but not arrows yet. Also, is it alright to buy some arrows before I get my bow? |
RE: Arrows...
Gold Tip Hunter XT's.
Wait until you get the bow and have it set up, because you won't know how long your arrows need to be until then. When the bow is set up,draw an arrow and have someone mark it at least 1/2" in front of where it clears the rest. Measure it from the bottom of the nock to the mark. Now you know how long your arrows need to be cut. |
RE: Arrows...
I shot easton epics. They work good for me. My brother shoots easton axis and he swears by them.

For the price you can't go wrong with the Gold Tips!!

RE: Arrows...
I prefer CX Maximas, FMJ's, and ACC's but with the price thing involved I think the Beman line of arrows are a good place to look. I have sold many of them, and most guys are very pleased. I have always felt they are one of the best bargains in arrow shafts on the market:D

RE: Arrows...
Cool, thanks. So you really should wait until you have the bow huh? Even though I know my length and am using a drop away?

RE: Arrows...
wait to get the arrows cut till you have the bow and the rest is mounted. many things can change the length of the arrow like shape of the riser and brace height both my bows have 27inch draw but one set of arrows are 27.25 inches and the other is 26 because of the reflex shaped riser making a shorter brace height.. just my 0.02
