This is a 2 1/2 year old I shot last year with a bow. Strangest looking deer I ever saw. Other than the rack he was normal except for a mane that ran down the back of his neck.

Wisconsin is also known for racks like that besides the big guys they produce. I think there's a little in breeding invloved.

That maned deer reminded me. The freaky antlered buck I shot a few years back had CURLY hair. It was most prominent on his forehead and all down the back of his neck and along his spine. The rest of his coat was kind of curly but not nearly as noticeable. The Taxi said he’d never seen anything like it.

Maryland... You might wanna unload your gun. LOL

Those are awesome looking deer, buddy. Do you see a lot of piebalds in your area, or were you just fortunate enough to see 2 in the same year?

Shot this guy at 125 yards in the brush... thought he was a huge non-typical with a drop and stickers... i was a bit off.

Not all that freaky but it is cool to me. My muzzle loader buck this year that has a cool turkey foot. He looked way bigger standing in the brush. I seen the right side of his rack and new he was done for!!!!!

Sorry bout the loaded gun....my mistake.

We had seen the doe the past two seasons, with only one shot opportunity....my buddy missed. I didn't.lol
The spike was seen by my buddies dad early this season, he let it pass, for what reason, I have no clue. I gave it
the old slugo.

This is only my second year hunting, so I had no clue they were as rare as everyone is saying. I guess I feel kinda
lucky in a way. I would much rather had a 130+ in the pic;)

No pics, but I shot a doe a few years ago with only two good legs. The front left was broken from a month or so old gun wound right below the shoulder, and then aparently she got caught in a fence, coyotes snagged her, or she got hit by a car perhaps a week before I found her. Her right hind achilles tendon was entirely severed, she got around (kind of) on two legs and a knee. The tendon was begining to dry up and not festering and from the look of the wound I thought a week old. She was moving into a field to feed when I saw her. I still cant believe she was still surviving. I came close to throwing up after I put her down.
