i wasd wondering if yall go to a pro shop or a retail store like bass proshops or cebeles to get your bow fix. thank you and god bless.

I actualy do my own bow work. Cabelas and Basspro are probably ok, but most other retail stores I wouldnt dare let them touch my bow. Ive seen and fixed too many bows that were set up by retail stores. Most of them have no clue what they are doing. I would deffinetly recomend a pro shop. Alot of them have gone to courses for specific manufactures, like bowtech, mathews ect. So they know what their doing and have all the proper tools to do it.

I do all of my own work but if I was a customer instead of working at the proshop, I would definatly choose the proshop over a retail in a heartbeat. Sure, you're going to pay a little more but the quality of service and knowledge far outweighs the extra cost.

I generally go to my proshop, but have gone to the bigger stores if I can get a real good deal on some equipment, like a release, target, etc. This yr. I did go to a chain store because my pro was closed for the week & I need some work done asap for a hunt. They both have their place.

I can't stand neither! If I can't figure it out myself I'll make the trip 4.5 hours to my dads and the 2 of us will get er done!

if you got a local pro shop available definatly put it to use! You big store names are there to sell sell sell....that is there main focus and drive is to sell you product does not matter if its what you want or not!

Now I just do it myself. I used to have stuff done at local shops. Thanks to this board and some very knowledgeable members, I can tackle almost anything I run across.
